Thermal-break aluminum on a residential plot
A plot package needs the series named on the elevation, not a brand adjective in the email.
Related scope
Aluminum windows and doors
Supply and installation of aluminum windows and doors for residential plots, including louvers where the package calls for them.
Why the series is a contract item
Thermal-break aluminum is the usual draft on this site because most listed work is residential. The series, the sightline, and the frame depth still change from elevation to elevation. Send the window schedule with the series column filled, or say that the series is still open.
What not to lock too early
Hardware hand and glass build-up can stay provisional while the opening sizes are fixed. A locked series with no elevation still cannot be fabricated. The draft ranges on the product page are not a series offer.
Compare two series on the same opening
If two series are still open, price them on one repeated opening, not on the whole plot. State frame depth, sightline, and whether the glass bite changes. The cheaper series is not approved until that opening is drawn.
