Write the glass build-up, not a tint name
Low-E is a coating position and a performance target. A color word does not order the glass.

Related scope
Aluminum windows and doors
Supply and installation of aluminum windows and doors for residential plots, including louvers where the package calls for them.
The minimum line on an inquiry
State insulated or single, the nominal thickness, whether a Low-E coating is required, and whether the energy note already names U-value or shading. If the note is not written yet, say so. The product page only marks Low-E as a draft option.
Safety glass is a separate decision
Laminated or tempered glass is required by location: doors, low sills, overhead glazing. Do not assume the same build-up as the typical apartment window. Overhead glass is discussed with the skylight and canopy scope.
Spacer, coating face, and edge
Name the spacer, which glass face carries the Low-E coating, and whether the edge is stepped for a structural bite. A build-up written only as 6+12A+6 still has those three choices open. Put them on the glass schedule next to the opening mark.
